Summary

The Sales Finance Manager has a dynamic role that includes data analysis, builder and dealer program rebate negotiations, builder rebate approvals, and interactions with senior and mid-level sales managers.  The incumbent will have a blend of strong analytical and commercial skills.  The role has a team whose roles are to manage data analytics, specialized rebate claims and assist in deal evaluation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the Builder and Dealer sales teams at both the national and regional level on rebate contract negotiations and trade expenditure, making recommendations and approvals of rates, bonus structures as well as contract terms.
  • Prepare negotiated programs for RFP submissions, present total program values, product discount rates and year over year program changes.
  • Own the annual contract negotiations, rate adjustments and contract renewal process and deal evaluation.
  • Manage and Forecast/Budget of rebates/discounts providing variance explanations and recommendations to the business on opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and maintain builder analytics framework to help drive the business strategy. This role will influence business strategy changes through profitability, volume and trend insights output from the analytical framework.  
  • Support Month End close, working with the accounting team on classifications and explanation of the results to forecast, general trends and insights. This role will have oversight of National and Regional Builders, IV and Installers.
  • Manage a team or direct reports – The team will support the manager role on data analytics, rebate claims and deal evaluation.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 or more years of professional experience (quantitative degree, business, mathematics, engineering or equivalent) 
  • Strong financial acumen with emphasis on working within the Finance or Pricing domain
  • Proven ability to think strategically, thoroughly understand complex business requirements, and high-level business case justifications.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to an evolving macroeconomic environment
  • Proven ability to negotiate and be persuasive internally, while also displaying the ability to effectively and professionally resolve conflict and a history of partnering with sales functions.
  • Proven management skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams with the ability to coach and develop people through tough situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
  • Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and successful stress tolerance. JH moves quickly and often requires quick complex actions to happen
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Access, Internet, and other proprietary software.
  • Limited travel as needed
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and ability to understand the business model

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $122,000.00 to $153,000.00. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits, and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
