Summary
The HR Representative partners with the Sales HR team to support the Commercial organization across the U.S. and Canada. This will include the facilitation and implementation of key HR strategies and client specific initiatives to recruit, retain and develop the workforce located throughout the US. In addition, HR Representative will help develop and implement process improvements in the HR department’s service and support to teams, assist with day-to-day operations and perform various administrative duties. The incumbent will showcase his/her communication, employee relations expertise and organizational skills to ensure our internal clients are provided assistance, support and customer service in line with the Business strategies and Company’s missions and values.
What You’ll Do:
Support Talent & Development Initiatives (25%)
- Partner with Sales HR to execute talent and development initiatives across the sales organization.
- Coordinate and support training programs, leadership development efforts, and onboarding for new hires.
- Partner with HR and the business on New Hire Orientation and ensure a strong onboarding experience for field-based employees.
- Track development progress and assist with succession planning and high-potential programs.
Drive Employee Engagement & Retention (25%)
- Support implementation of engagement strategies tailored to a remote, travel-heavy sales workforce.
- Assist in employee surveys, recognition programs, and follow-up action planning.
- Conduct listening sessions or focus groups to gather feedback and identify trends.
- Partner with leaders to address engagement challenges and improve team effectiveness.
HR Operations & Employee Support (25%)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate HR support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support reporting and data tracking related to turnover, performance, and engagement.
- Assist with HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and internal movement.
Manager Support & HR Program Execution (25%)
- Partner with frontline sales leaders to reinforce HR programs, policies, and processes.
- Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and day-to-day HR matters.
- Support execution of key HR cycles (performance reviews, goal setting, compensation processes).
- Help identify trends and escalate risks or opportunities to the Sales HR leadership, partnering with them on solutions as appropriate.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of HR generalist or related experience, with exposure to organizational development and training, employee assistance, benefits administration, employee recognition, and retention programs.
- Foundational knowledge of HR practices including employee relations, performance management, and employment law
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with remote teams and frontline managers
- Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
