As a member of Customer Operations, you are part of a fast-paced, critical thinking, and high-pressure environment. Our representatives are always on top of their game and keep our “BUILD” Customer Service Philosophy at the forefront of their work. You are constantly providing support to our customer base, Sales team, all facets of Supply Chain and other departments within the organization. You are the face of James Hardie, on the front lines for our customers and the organization, requiring you to apply basic technical knowledge while effectively leveraging available resources and prioritizing issues.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

This Customer Account Representative – MultiFamily (MF) Jobsite Coordinator is a new role driven by the need to coordinate jobsite deliveries for our growing MultiFamily/Commercial segment. Jobsites are dynamic and we need to ensure that we are communicating with our sites at a high level and making deliveries as easy as possible for our customers. The MF Jobsite Coordinator focuses specifically on scheduling delivery appointments, coordinating shipments, and providing shipment updates to our customers so they can make the necessary preparations to receive material. The MF Jobsite Coordinator must have superior communication skills and organization, as this role is heavily phone and email-based. This position also requires good follow-up skills and the ability to handle large outbound call volumes, as well as the ability to provide critical updates to key internal partners.

  • Troubleshoot and problem solve leveraging knowledge, resources, qualitative and quantitative information
  • Provide professional and appropriate internal/external communication as well as progress updates to all stakeholders
  • Adapt to change with ease and help customers with change management
  • Desire to learn about different areas of the organization's process and jump in to assist
  • Be a team player who wants to advance the goals of the organization
  • Must be able to stay organized in order to provide timely and accurate follow-up
  • Make customers and their needs the primary focus of one's actions; utilize "BUILD" philosophy in day-to-day operations; develop and sustain productive customer relationships

What You’ll Bring:

Education/Experience:

  • 1-3 yrs. working experience, preferably in a customer-centered, high urgency environment
  • Experience operating under minimal supervision, acting in an autonomous manner
  • Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
  • Excel knowledge preferred
  • SAP knowledge and experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail + heavy data-entry experience

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $22/hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
