As a member of the Sales Operations team, reporting to the Manager of Sales Effectiveness, the Analyst will partner with commercial operations, segments, and national accounts to drive results for our key dealers, distributors, and builders. This role will be responsible for three key areas; data integrity inside the CRM tool, identifying and sharing key insights to our national sales team, and driving solutions through key builders including but not limited to rebate incentives. This position is crucial for helping the business generate more predictive insights, enabling our sales team to become strong business partners for their customers and enhancing our account management capabilities. The Jr. Business Analyst will work closely with customers and internal business partners to deliver large-scale data solutions that support a superior customer experience.

 

 What You’ll Do:

 

  • Data Governance
    • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within Salesforce.com by following data quality standards and conducting regular audits
    • Responsible for data inputs including validating that all customer master and contact hierarchy information is complete and accurate.
    • Provide training support to sales teams and other users on data governance best practices and the proper use of Salesforce.com.
    • Support the documentation and development of data governance procedures and ensure policies align with business objectives
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Clearly and concisely communicate key insights that drive stickiness and growth with our national account customers including dealers, distributors, and builders.
    • Enhance existing reporting and partner with our national accounts team to build standard work around dashboards and reporting
    • Understand simple and complex account hierarchy management and work with internal stakeholders to achieve nested reports of KPIs
    • Work collaboratively with customer and business partners to analyze program and solution data to ensure we meet intended success metrics
  • Systems Support
    • Support adoption efforts for eCommerce site, Hardie™ Link.
    • Deliver approved solutions to key builder partners by managing processes and understanding customer systems and integrations
    • Testing and validating information as it relates to system integrations

What You Will Bring:

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, information technology or related discipline
  • 3 years of experience as a sales or business analyst working on large-scale initiatives
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and its data management capabilities
  • Experience with data management software like Validity, Plauti, Cloudingo preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working with national accounts or key customers
  • Ability to work with a variety of PM tools such as Microsoft Projects, Visio, Atlassian suite preferred
  • Professional manner and customer focused.
  • Computer proficiency required: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with cross functional experience, good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Technically savvy, ability to utilize key tools to support the validation and verification of customer information
  • Knowledge of sales process and manufacturing preferred
  • Experience improving sales processes.
  • High energy
