The Maintenance Storeroom Supervisor will be responsible for the complete operations of the stockroom. In addition, provide leadership and direction for immediate staff and entire storeroom concerning stockroom functions. The Storeroom Supervisor should drive communication within the team and facilitate the needs of the storeroom team to help them to drive towards executing at the highest level possible. Maintains a positive company image by being courteous and professional in all situations with customers and employees.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Train and develop stockroom associates to be fluent in all storeroom processes.
  • Lead DMS meeting for storeroom.
  • Attends DMS meeting structure for maintenance.
  • Delegate through others…Set an example for the department.
  • Ensure parts and materials are received in a timely manner.
  • Handle tracking and shipping of parts and assets that need to be sent off-site for repair.
  • Lead transfers and return to vendor merchandise for transport.
  • Drive reporting and follow up for damaged goods that arrive onsite and communicate out to purchasing and vendors.
  • Practice PDCA for activities within the storeroom to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives by using the HMOS tools to organize the storeroom.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify items that impact storeroom health.
  • Motivate employees to maximize performance.
  • Evaluate employee performance.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and improve systems within the storeroom to drive efficiency.

 

What You’ll Bring:  

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in storeroom experience

Other Skills

  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Aptitude to analyze results and make recommendations.
  • Computer skills, able to use software that is required for certain job tasks.
  • Aptitude to lead and develop people.
