As our Maintenance Manager, you’ll develop and implement the strategic vision and direction to improve equipment reliability. You’ll also work to optimize people, strategy, structure, process and culture. This truly is a position where you can determine your own career success.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the annual execution of the maintenance budget and manages ongoing spending;
• Implements the tactics to reduce breakdowns, improve planned maintenance, optimize scheduled maintenance and effectively execute down day events;
• Develop/manage metrics and reporting system necessary to track progress, identify key improvement areas across all manufacturing systems;
• Maintain the facility in a safe manner and to a standard level of equipment availability;
• Reviews and observes the work of the maintenance employees and directs development/training requirements;
• Maintains close contact with Production Manager to ensure maintenance activities occur with minimal disruption to production operations;
• Drives the analysis of all electrical and mechanical down time incidents to root cause; and
• Recommends and implements improvement in maintenance and operational procedures.

What You’ll Bring:  

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of maintenance manager experience
• 15 years of maintenance experience
• Strong preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge/experience
• Experience with a computer maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to be a part of cross-functional teams
• Knowledgeable of root cause and fault tree analysis techniques
• Strong electrical and mechanical technical knowledge
• Knowledge of lean tools and concepts
• Continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing or heavy industrial environment strongly preferred
• 1 or more years of Planning/Scheduling hands-on experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferred).
• Able to participate in the on-call schedule – 1 week ever 6 weeks
