Experience: 4 years of experience in IT management or related. Requires skills and experience to involve: Proficiency in IT Asset Management Processes formulation and improvement; Experience reading and interpreting contracts to manage digital technology, which include license and maintenance agreements; Deep understanding of technology asset life cycle (whether digital technology, information, financial or physical assets), best practice governance, tools and services; Extensive experience with policy, process, and procedure development and implementation; Extensive experience with technology contracts and assessing their likely cost implications through the technology asset lifecycle; Experience engaging with sourcing, procurement and vendor management, legal, tax, and accountancy advisors to complete projects; Extensive experience with data processing, analysis, and quality management tools, including ServiceNow. 10% domestic travel required throughout continental US.
Job duties: The Sr. Mgr IT Assets and Client Services position will be responsible for the management of technology assets, which includes optimizing the value and cost of technology assets while mitigating the risks these assets present to the organization throughout their life. Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. Establish an effective technology life cycle that spans from technology asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, all the way through the retirement and disposal of the asset. Responsible for the governance of this lifecycle and reporting data that is captured throughout the life cycle to improve the management of assets within the organization. Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Stay abreast of advances in technology. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports. Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions.
