Summary
The Divisional Sales Director reports to the General Manager and will be based out of our corporate facility in Eagan, MN.
You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, driving divisional sales performance, crafting selling strategy, generating divisional revenue, and setting priorities to align with enterprise goals. The key objective is to act as an accountable leader for divisional performance, strengthen key distributor relationships, and leading District Sales Managers to deliver revenue growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Division Revenue/Growth
- Sets targets and manages pipeline for region based on divisional strategy,
- defining focus channels, accounts and growth plays
- Translates divisional strategy into plans and initiatives; accountable for delivering revenue and growth targets for assigned sub-division
- Drives disciplined, data‑enabled performance management by monitoring pipeline health, leading indicators, and execution quality across all districts
- Sets clear performance expectations for District Sales Managers and holds them accountable for delivering revenue and growth targets across markets, channels, and product categories
- Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruits, develops, and performance-manages District Sales Managers to ensure strong execution and leadership coverage
- Tracks regional performance against strategic targets, ensuring campaigns and strategic priorities are executed
- Builds, develops, and scales a high‑performing leadership team capable of delivering divisional growth, including recruiting, coaching, and succession planning for District Sales Managers.
- Sets clear expectations for leadership effectiveness and provides targeted coaching to elevate decision‑making and execution among senior field leaders.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Strengthen Distributor Relationships
- Maintains strong distributor partnerships that support growth priorities across siding, trim, decking and rail campaigns
- Engages directly with distributors during critical moments with customers, ensuring sustained commitment to shared growth objectives
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of sales experience in a high-touch commercial sales environment with a high-level of organization, discipline, and self-structure.
- 3-5 years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally with experience leading multi‑regional teams or running a large business unit.
- A proven track record of leading teams to achieve or exceed sales targets at scale.
- Demonstrated experience building and executing sales strategies, informed by market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Strong background working closely with marketing, product, operations, and finance to align sales strategy to enterprise goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Valid driver’s license is required, and employment is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record that meets the Company’s driving eligibility standards
What You’ll Receive:
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $126,000 to $201,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
