Senior Associate Marketing Manager—Field Marketing

Position Summary:

  • The Senior Associate Field Marketing Manager creates demand and helps leverage wins in the marketplace, whether it’s with contractors, builders, or dealers. The role supports the West Division of JH’s business, with a focus on WA, OR, CA, UT, and CO.
  • This position will help defend and grow business amongst builders and contractors by delivering the James Hardie product and non-product value prop with and through our sales team. This role identifies and executes opportunities to accelerate results at scale across the division. 

  • This role reports to the Director of Pro Marketing, with a dotted line to the Sr Director of Sales – West and Canada. The West sales team is the #1 customer for this role, currently consisting of >44 individuals. This position will also partner with a broad cross-functional team, including business strategy leaders, the marketing team, sales operations, and events management.

  • The position is based in either Denver or Seattle and travel is expected to be roughly 30%.  

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accelerating market development and sales growth with a primary focus on converting competitive siding and trim opportunities (vinyl and wood, primarily) to Hardie fiber cement products.
  • Regionally deploying marketing strategies and tools in support of company growth goals.
  • Gaining understanding of targeted builders, contractors, dealers, and installers and helping to develop compelling messaging and tools to enable market share growth.
  • Partnering with central marketing team to execute strategic content capture and case study, blog, social post content for amplification in the West.
  • Partnering with the sales teams to support local events. 
  • Communicating and partnering with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required (must be from an accredited institution). Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of marketing experience
  • 2+ years business to business (B2B) marketing focus
  • Experience creating, executing and managing multiple project plans and integrated marketing campaigns at once
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate through ambiguous situations
  • Able to manage and motivate people through influence and build strong relationships with a wide range of people
  • Ability to travel roughly 30% of the time.
