Summary
What You’ll Do:
Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:
- Execute full-cycle recruiting for all assigned positions and provide assistance with the recruitment efforts of other James Hardie recruiters
- Coordinate intake meetings for all newly assigned roles, update job postings and post on all relevant platforms
- Develop effective recruitment strategies and locate and source passive talent as well as active job seekers
- Lead the interviewing and candidate selection process from start to finish, including the scheduling of interviews and administering/review of assessments as needed
- Develop professional relationships with candidates and serve as a liaison to prospective hires, clearly articulating the organization’s EVP
- Serve as a business partner to department leaders and hiring managers by serving as a subject matter expert on recruitment industry trends and forecasting
- Work with Management and Human Resources partners to lead diversity and inclusion recruiting initiatives
- Suggest process changes to improve efficiency in the recruiting and hiring process
- Maintain candidate database using UKG recruiting gateway
- Support local HR teams with new employee onboarding, as needed
What You’ll Bring:
We believe the successful candidate will have:
- Five (5)+ years full-cycle Hourly recruiting experience, either in-house or at recruiting agencies
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel, as needed
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized and have an eye for detail, being driven to succeed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with server-based applicant tracking systems
- Proficiency with job board and social media platforms
