The Sr. Compliance Analyst, Global Procurement is accountable for developing, implementing, and updating policy and procedures related to various procurement systems and programs.  This incumbent will be responsible for monitoring compliance with established policies and programs and will partner with Business Controls to address findings and drive continuous improvement.  

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Global Procurement Policy
    • Support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Procurement policies, practices, procedures, and responsibilities.
  • Global Procurement Processes and Controls
    • Support the development, enhancement and implementation of effective, consistent procurement processes and procedures and internal controls
  • Contract Management Framework
    • Streamline and improve documentation to efficiently abide by organization requirements
    • Responsibility for traceability, trackability and transparency of contract management
  • Global Program Management (i.e. ESG reporting, Modern slavery)
    • Verify compliance with internal and external programs
    • Develop global processes to manage compliance
    • Ensure regional regulatory laws are understood and complied with
  • Identifies procurement process control and governance risks. Develops and implements strategies to reduce and mitigate risks associated with Procurement processes. Partners with Internal Audit and Business Controls teams to ensure strategy alignment and execution plans.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure established policies and procedures are being followed and adjust if needed
  • Develop compliance metrics, performance criteria, KPIs, dashboards and reporting.
  • Participate in risk assessment and pre-audit planning to conduct independent and objective procurement reviews
  • Prepares reports based on observations and findings
  • Develop productive working relationships with the Internal Audit Team and management at all levels
  • Demonstrate a confident and well-developed communication style, both written and spoken, that establishes credibility and facilitates clear understanding of audit issues and influence change where appropriate
  • Effectively communicate audit findings and audit ratings

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3+ years of procurement process and/or internal audit experience
  • Global exposure preferred
  • Experience in identifying and managing risks in Procurement environment
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and with vendors
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Experience working with diverse set of stakeholders
  • Understanding of procurement systems, processes, controls and best practices
  • Demonstrate a confident and well-developed communication style, both written and spoken, that establishes credibility and facilitates clear understanding of audit issues and influence change where appropriate
