The Manager SAP Finance Applications will be responsible for providing global application functional and technical solution integration leadership for relevant applications, SAP and non-SAP systems.  The Manager Applications will be accountable for the overall global template technical solution, end-to-end processes, integration of processes, solution and data aspects for program implementation and on-going management of solution. This role will manage solutions, issues, and risks of the relevant application.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Enable the realization of the strategic direction by implementing standard, leading practice global template-based solutions and following established governance on design principles, solution development and deployment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional work-stream leads, system integrators, external suppliers, and functional business leaders to drive solution design, deployment, and overall governance of the global solution
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of 5-year application roadmap for the relevant function, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, best practices and the solution roadmap
  • Create and own the application plan globally and drive completion of all deliverables
  • Develop and maintain guidelines, principles, policies, standards, reference models and best practices for all matters related to the application, business related processes and solution integration
  • Enforce governance of the standards and bring visibility to customizations and deviations
  • Drive harmonized industry-best practice process across all business functions and geographies allowing minor configurations (as necessary for legal, regulatory requirement) with no customizations
  • Partner with the global business work stream leads and serve as the custodian of the solution template
  • Lead the development of technical design / solution for global projects related Finance portfolio
  • Lead and facilitate design sessions amongst business, IS stakeholders/leaders & SMEs, driving integration and eliminating gaps
  • Follow established James Hardie solution governance process; clearly articulating what is a global template solution and what qualifies as localization
  • Establish and maintain a repository of current processes and solution documentation and assets for the global solution; clearly articulating in-scope items
  • Maintain visual depiction of the solution in forms of entity relationship structures and intercompany relationships including both physical and financial flow of goods and services and all process flows
  • Maintain a solution guide that articulates supported languages (system, data, and output), currencies and various other rules that make up the overall solution; update the guide as business requirements and solution continue to evolve
  • Adhere 100% to company software development methodology and SOX requirements
  • Collaborate within the different workstreams and with project team members to resolve conflicts, issues, and deviations and drive them to resolution
  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of experienced functional and technical analysts

 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer science or Technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of SAP FICO experience focus on Controlling module with implementations and support in a lead design/configuration role
  • Deep hands-on in SAP FICO  sub modules like Project system , COPA, Product Costing etc.
  • SAP CO (Controlling)
  • SAP COPC (Controlling/ Product Costing)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in team leadership role(s) directing, leading, or managing a project team
  • Experience in Global implementations/Support required within Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with major large, complex high-end design, configuring, and implementations preferred
  • Broad and deep functional and application knowledge of SAP FICO specially Controlling module required.
  • Cross functional experience between FICO and other areas like Manufacturing, Supply chain, and Procurement required.
  • Ability to work in highly matrixed environments managing global teams comprised of employees and system integrators.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead culturally diverse teams including offshore models
  • Innovative mindset and experience with agile, proto-typing and rapid development models
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical, change management and communication skills
  • Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Excellent understanding of business functional areas and "end to end" global business processes & sub-processes
  • Work experience across multiple cultures and countries or regions is a plus
