Position Summary:

The Project Management Specialist – Re-Side & Remodel (R&R) segment supports current strategy execution and volume delivery in partnership with a cross-functional team to support CAP (Contractor Alliance Program) Operations (70%) and supports the Manager – R&R Segment with projects directed at enhancing CAP Operations that help link our strategy and execution within the R&R segment (30%).  


The Project Management Specialist Re-Side & Remodel (R&R) reports to the Manager – CAP Operations. This position will partner with a broad cross-functional team, including other segment leaders, project managers, products, marketing, sales, commercial operations, and finance. The position is based out of Chicago, and travel is expected to be 10%. 


Position Responsibilities:


CAP Operations Support

  • Billing and Payments- Ensuring proper coding and timely processing of invoices related to program continuity and service. Invoicing and member exceptions related to earnings and enrollment.
  • Affiliations- Contract maintenance and tracking of deliverables under the guidance of the R&R Segment for the establishment and continued support of strategic CAP integrations
  • Training- Ensuring and documenting the establishment of standards via feedback gathering and monitoring. Working with the R&R Help Desk collaboratively to support daily functions and opportunity gathering
  • Audit/Compliance- Establishing gates for the identification of liabilities, data accuracy, and omissions to execution in stated processes
  • Reporting/Dashboards- Ensuring the continuation of cadenced publications  
  • Data management- support weekly/monthly functions for the intake, preparation and loading of program related functions such as Lansing Data load. Maintenance and support of program pages, resources, and filing.
  • Escalation tracking- Diligent tracking and monitoring of past due, high focus, and important/ high profile issues and requests


Projects and Strategic Linking

  • Enhancements- tracking and intaking important and prioritized CAP enhancements and Strategic priorities for the R&R Segment. Requires working with Vendors and program integrations for the advocacy of JH priorities
  • Feedback- Support the preparation and presentation of member feedback and voice gathering. Aid ancillary projects that request program insights and data.
  • Planning and tracking of key projects as prioritized by the Operations Manger. Timely reporting to key stakeholders.
  • CAP Resource Center- Serve and act as centralized point person to ensure for the proliferation of best practices in support of members, sales, and internal.
  • Events and Promotions- Support segment events and coordination for the fulfillment of member experiences and incentives.

  • Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals
  • Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and proprietary software)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%


Education/Experience Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business preferred or related field and/or years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, administrative, or account management
  • Proven project management experience in a cross-functional environment
  • Business to business plus business to consumer marketing experience and vendor management (preferred)
  • Planning, Events, CRM or Operations experience (preferred)
