The Procurement Analyst is responsible for research, data collection and analysis to assist in the procurement of direct and indirect categories.
What You’ll Do:
- Creates tools and guidelines to improve access to procurement processes, analytics and insight across Global Procurement.
- Manages 3rd party analytic, data and system providers, ensuring suppliers meet performance levels and continue to develop service utilizing best practices.
- Collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and other information relatively to the business objectives.
- Perform detailed analysis (supply-demand analysis, price-value analysis, etc.) to evaluate alternative sourcing and sales strategies.
- Establishes performance reporting methodologies and procedures. Responsible for the accuracy, quality, insight and timeliness of Global Procurement performance reporting across the different categories.
- Cultivates best practice and procurement analytics services across global procurement teams, using technical knowledge applied to meet local needs.
- Responsible for defining the tools and methodologies utilized by the Procurement team in gathering market and supply-base insights, and market and technology trends across the regions.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years of procurement process experience
- At least 1 years of experience in working on procure-to-pay processes and technologies.
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
- Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
