The Brand Marketing Manager supports the Brand Director and Brand team in executing brand strategy and marketing initiatives. This role thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about building and evolving the brand. The Brand Marketing Manager works across B2C and B2B channels, contributing to creative development, content planning, social media, PR/influencer programs, and experiential marketing. Leveraging insights to inform creative decisions is key.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support development and execution of brand strategy and stewardship activities.
  • Allocate time: 40% strategy support, 60% tactical execution.
  • Assist in evolving the James Hardie brand and driving adoption of changes across the organization.
  • Monitor industry trends and share insights for consumer and trade audiences.
  • Prepare project briefs and evaluate proposals for messaging, creative concepts, PR, social media, and influencer content.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and solution-oriented thinking; suggest brand-building opportunities.
  • Act as a brand steward, ensuring proper use of brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with legal and senior team members on brand portfolio and IP matters.
  • Collaborate with marketing groups to maintain brand alignment across media, digital, retail, and events.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to advance projects and gain alignment.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners, including agencies and vendors.
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing tools and communications.
  • Write non-technical copy for communications as needed.
  • Organize and share project information to support clarity and efficiency.
  • Participate in budgeting, prioritization, and resource allocation as assigned.
  • Contribute as a motivated team player focused on delivering results for a growing organization.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of related marketing or brand management experience (agency or client-side).
  • Experience supporting brand strategy and marketing commercialization processes.
  • Demonstrated success executing brand projects and activations with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with creative development and production across traditional and digital media.
  • Experience supporting content strategies and social media plans for various audiences.
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines and agency/vendor management.
  • Understanding of research options and ability to support research initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $122,400K to $153,000K. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
