Hybrid – Chicago based

 

As the Marketing Analytics Manager you will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and be a key contributor in gathering and drawing insights from marketing analytics data. You will be a well-rounded, tech-savvy, quantitative digital marketer with experience across a breadth of areas, including customer audience management, marketing ROI, KPI generation, predictive modeling, testing and optimization, analytics and reporting, etc.  

In this role, you will be the quantitative anchor for an agile marketing team, that facilitates the development of insights from marketing to the rest of the business. You will need to be comfortable working with agency partners and other business segment members, to create impactful insights from marketing performance related to financial metrics across the business.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  •  Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Become the power user of Amplitude, James Hardie’s Customer Data Platform (CDP), by providing insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Make thoughtful & strategic recommendations for marketing innovations supported by data that drive business objectives like efficiency gains, increased engagement or improved performance
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive consumer segmentation models, data enrichment, integrated marketing for ROI, estimating causal impact on financial impact in the short and long-run
  • Identify targeted audiences to optimize marketing communications for digital media deployment, on-site personalization and one-to-one marketing by leveraging transaction and behavioral data.
  • Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, EDW), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google, Amplitude), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools
  • Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
  • Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business-related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience related experience
