Summary

Location: Hybrid from Chicago, IL

 

We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team and drive revenue growth through strategic account management, lead conversion, and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in expanding our footprint with key partners in the residential construction ecosystem. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales reps, crafting an inside selling strategy, and engaging closely with outside sales leadership for optimizing go-to-market campaigns. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets 
  • Create and shepherd inside sales strategy  
  • Communicate key customer insight findings and recommendations 
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activities, including lead qualification, quoting, and order processing 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with home builders, dealers, architects, and retail partners 
  • Collaborate with marketing and field sales teams to align campaigns and drive product awareness 
  • Analyze sales metrics and pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement 
  • Ensure CRM systems are accurately maintained and leveraged for reporting and forecasting 
  • Resolve customer issues and inquiries with professionalism and urgency 
  • Support product launches and promotions with targeted outreach and follow-up 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in building materials or construction-related industries 
  • 2+ years of team leadership or management experience 
  • Selling to B2B accounts such as builders, dealers, and retail chains 
  • Utilizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred 
  • Able to present in front of large groups and convey messages in a captivating manner 
  • Market Awareness: understands competitive landscape and customer buying behavior 
  • Business/Financial Acumen: specifically regarding the construction industry
  • Sale Process: funnel management, and good sales practices  
  • Ability to work with a CRM (Safesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) 

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $148,000.00 to $193,000.00. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits, and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
