The IT Program Manager leads the delivery of programs and projects that help us reach important organizational goals and deliver on critical strategies. This role manages programs and projects, giving detailed attention to strategic business outcomes, program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation. Program Manager delivers by leading teams and following Project Management methodologies developed under the Global Transformation Management Office (GTMO). The Program Manager will adhere to JH’s project management standards and partner with their respective Portfolio Management Office (PMO).
This Program Manager role will be assigned to the Global IT organization will report directly to the IT PMO. Key focus areas include enabling strategy execution through the oversight of global programs. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and facilitate issue escalation and resolution. Through projects, this role will also connect to key stakeholders, manage leadership priorities, and align with resource managers, project managers, working groups, SME’s, and steering committees to provide program/project guidance to enable successful execution. Key adjacent support areas will include Supply Chain, Commercial, IT, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage execution of strategic, complex, functional, and cross-functional projects, exercising organizational, leadership, and management skills to deliver projects successfully
- Lead and facilitate functional and sometimes cross-functional teams in defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, resources, budget, and schedule
- Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including overall status, health, and business benefits tracking for projects
- Deliver key messages regarding all project initiatives within the program(s). Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis
- Manage multiple programs and projects with respective PMs across the globe
- Lead project teams in developing, implementing, and applying standard processes for risk management, issue management, quality assurance, project delivery, financial management, and project communications
- Forecast resourcing needs and develop/modify plans accordingly to achieve desired results
- Facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement of a standard PM methodology including, but not limited to, project execution, approval, & reporting based on standard PMI practices adopted by GTMO
- Apply structured Change Management methods to projects and lead change management activities, including stakeholder assessment, communication, training/ coaching, and resistance management
- Facilitate and contribute to the continuous improvement of a standard Change Management methodology, consisting of an Organizational Change Management toolkit with processes, techniques, and templates
- Mentor and train business team members to build consistent project delivery and change management practices across the enterprise
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, Project Management or applicable fields
- Minimum of 10 years of business experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management required
- PMI Project Management Certification (PMP) highly desired
- Agile delivery experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing organization beneficial

- Demonstrated excellence in project management planning and execution.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Critical thinking and the ability to navigate multiple priorities.
- Experience leading Quality Management resources on projects.
