The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for delivering HR business partnership, expertise, and consulting to employees at all levels for the Sales and Sales Operations organizations in the United States and Canada.  This will include the facilitation and implementation of key HR strategies and client specific initiatives to recruit, retain and develop the employee capabilities and improve performance of business operations. In addition, the HR Manager will help develop and implement process improvements in the HR department’s service and support to teams, assist with day-to-day operations and perform various HR duties.  The incumbent will showcase their talent management expertise, employee relations skills, and communication & organizational skills to ensure our internal clients are provided leadership, support, and customer service in line with the Business strategies and Company’s missions and values.


What You'll Do:


Establishes rapport and acts as a business partner on all People/HR issues affecting operations by:  (40%)

  • Partnering with managers to deploy talent management and employee engagement strategy, maintain staffing documents, interview candidates and develop staff;
  • Collaborating with staff mangers to provide performance appraisal and development plans input;
  • Attending management and team meetings to understand operations, determining ways to develop staff, reviewing any employee relations issues, and sharing organizational knowledge;
  • Reviewing Employee Engagement Survey results with managers to identify process improvements upon procedures;
  • Coordinating management training in talent management, terminations, promotions, performance management, sexual harassment, or other areas as needed; and
  • Scheduling meetings, providing Employee Engagement Survey results, and working to identify process improvements upon procedures to maintain positive employee relations.

Assumes responsibility for the administration of employee retention and recognition programs, policies and procedures, and HR/People activity for client group by; (40%)

  • Maintaining excellent communication and a positive relationship with employees to promote employee satisfaction;
  • Scheduling meetings with employees to conduct the Employee Engagement Survey and providing feedback;
  • Providing an internal communications strategy with workforce and implementing an effective communications strategy between management and employees on a long-term basis;
  • Leveraging HRIS data to assess trends, successes, and gaps;
  • Overseeing personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations; and
  • Conducting focus groups and exit interviews to gain feedback on employee engagement and determine recommended changes to engagement plans
  • Effectively identify areas of improvement and ensure action items are addressed and completed.

Assumes responsibility for HR related duties as required or assigned. (10%)

  • Communicate HR and company policies and programs to site employees as needed.
  • Provide superior employee administrative support by responding to employment-related inquires, coordinating with related departments, other HR teams and client groups, as required, ensuring that all inquiries are quickly addressed and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the HR team, site management and administrative personnel with miscellaneous administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Assumes responsibility for effectively recording, maintaining, and reporting employee data and human resources information. (10%)

  • Ensure that human resources files and employment records are accurate, organized, and up to date, as well as filed and maintained in accordance with legal requirements, Company policies & procedures.
  • Update various reports, logs and employee database information for HR or client group organization development records.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 7 or more years of HR experience with exposure to talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, training and development, and recruitment.
  • Experience with providing HR Partnership to Commercial Sales teams preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment law (including Canadian employment laws) and equal employment guidelines and policies including the principles and practices of staffing administration including methods and techniques used in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, and training.
  • Knowledge of core capabilities/competencies approach to staffing and meeting a large organization’s business needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the practices and principles of human resources including FMLA, ADA, worker’s compensation, safety administration, benefits, employee relations, and providing consultative services to all levels of employees and management within various client groups.
  • Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software).
  • Demonstrated high level of accuracy in work with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively take action to solve problems, exhibiting sound judgment.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to guide processes through to closure.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to learn various processes and policies quickly to effectively perform tasks and provide support as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in an ethical, professional manner.
