Position Summary
The Retail E Commerce Strategy Manager will help lead the Interiors and Retail E Commerce business, reporting to the VP Retail Development. James Hardie E-Commerce Strategy Manager - Retail analyzes data to determine the best way to grow revenue and profits in growing Retail E Commerce. The data might be quantitative or qualitative. Insights and information provide a clear overview of the market e-commerce landscape and where there might be gaps or opportunities. The strategist must understand market structure, targets, unique advantages, communications, and all channels.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations in E Commerce Retail.
- Set specific Retail E Commerce growth goals that align with the overall Retailers growth and James Hardie Global Strategy.
- Develop and maintain digital campaigns to increase Retail web traffic.
- Track and measure both Retailers and James Hardie E Commerce outcomes including marketing activities, response, traffic, revenue, conversion, and ROI.
- Forecast market trends.
- Research market to identify new opportunities.
- Generate innovative ideas to promote our James Hardie brand and products on Digital platforms.
- Develop business cases to support new E Commerce strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans.
- Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure James Hardie brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity.

- Superior interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and proprietary software).
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
Education/Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Three or more years of experience in marketing and /or E-Commerce
- Market research and business insight development experience
- Proven project management experience in a cross-functional environment
- Business to business plus business to consumer marketing experience (preferred)
