The Director, Global Applications will be responsible for management and end to end delivery of all global applications with a strong focus on delivering a sustainable global template and support model. You'll be  responsible for all aspects of corporate related requirements globally and will ensure that specifications and requirements will be met at all times. Acts as the first point of contact for GPO (Global Process Owners), SME’s (Subject Matter Experts), Integration Partner and other functional leads. You will develop and institute Project Management practices, standards and services in coordination with the Global IT organization.

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Help develop and manage the IT strategy, prioritize potential investments and drive system implementations
  • Help develop and manage IT roadmaps in support of business transformation strategy
  • Drive execution of business aligned IT strategy and vision
  • Collaborate with process owners and leadership to identify investments in relevant technology to drive efficiency and improve service levels
  • Recommend and implement process improvement/reengineering initiatives
  • Liaise with IT to drive system enhancements, upgrades and modifications across multiple process areas and segments and ensure architecture supports business requirements
  • Collaborate to set and monitor service levels and ensure critical IT needs are met and to solve urgent or complex problems or incidents
  • Serve as liaison to address Service Level Agreement issues when necessary
  • Prepare and monitor annual corporate related IT budget in conjunction with CIO
  • Oversee all aspects of the project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and project closure
  • Lead and coach team to perform at their best and ensure resources are utilized appropriately
  • Collaborate with GTMO (Global Transformation Management Office) to ensure any change management plans related to technology and system enhancements and implementations are developed, implemented and executed
  • Ensure adequate controls and support documentation are in place for metrics measuring IT service delivery performance
  • Monitor and assure achievement of customer service requirements as defined by both formal Service Level Agreements as well as Customer Satisfaction surveys by both internal and outsourced operation
  • Participate in steering committees overseeing individual and combined projects or programs

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, related field of study or equivalent experience required
  • MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience leading and managing a large global IT organization required
  • Experience leading at least one major ERP implementation required
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven history of building and maintaining excellent client service relationships, interacting and partnering with all levels of management to help drive collaborative business decisions
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, lean process management, change management expertise and leadership
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in managing projects of medium to large scale and implemented change initiatives as a technical expert within a specified product or process area
  • Experience in service delivery in a high performing customer service and support organization
  • Ability to confidently lead and drive cross-functional projects, and individual project tracks of large programs through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Strong leadership experience to direct and mentor teams to meet objectives strategically while managing details on multiple concurrent tasks and meeting various deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both individually and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel an average of 25% - domestically and internationally
