Position: Director of Enterprise Risk Management

 

About the Role:

As the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our organization’s risk management strategy. You will work closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to ensure that our enterprise risk management (ERM) program supports our strategic objectives. This role involves developing governance frameworks, implementing technology tools, and managing a dedicated team. Your efforts will help us identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Establish and direct the design, implementation, and management of the ERM program. Collaborate with the Chief Legal Counsel and executive leadership to integrate risk considerations into strategic planning and operations.
  • Risk Management: Partner with risk leaders to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks. Facilitate the development of risk appetite statements and enterprise risk tolerances.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal risk management functions to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management. Prepare and present quarterly updates to executive management.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop a team of ERM specialists, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in risk management. Conduct regular testing of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business Management, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • Experience: 10 years in Enterprise Risk Management, with global experience preferred. Knowledge of ERM and business continuity frameworks is essential; Preferred if such experience is in the manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to influence and lead change. Proficiency in PowerPoint for high-quality presentations.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified ISO 22301 Business Continuity Manager (CBCM), and others.
