Will Consider 100% Remote with Required Travel
As part of the Global Cyber Security team, the Director, Cyber Security Operations and Engineering is a pivotal role in executing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and operations and is accountable for the execution of the company's Cybersecurity strategy as the company’s senior most technical security leader. You will contribute to the security strategy, architecture, and roadmaps to implement security controls, working closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and senior leadership to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets while fostering a culture of security and compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and drive cybersecurity initiatives in alignment with the company's business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the company’s Global Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence and Incident Response functions, including managing the international team of employees and contractors that monitors and responds to cyber events for the company.
- Provide strategy and guidance to the business leadership of our product lines in support of strategic business planning and corporate cybersecurity policy adherence.
- Support business leaders and operations partners in infrastructure and application organizations in considering holistic and integrated approaches that provide for data integrity, information confidentiality and service availability of company and consumer data.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering skill development and career growth.
- Assess and manage enterprise-wide cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents, implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential threats.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology investments, security architecture, and solutions to safeguard critical assets.
- Drive a culture of security awareness by promoting adherence to security protocols and practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to refine and enhance cybersecurity strategies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Computer Science, Information Security, or related field referred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
- Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, including knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and threat detection/prevention.
- Proven track record of developing and executing cybersecurity strategies that align with business objectives.
- Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to understand and integrate cybersecurity goals into broader organizational goals.
- Experience managing security incidents, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- At least of the following industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GPEN, GSLC
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams with quickly changing priorities.
- Ability to travel 30-35%
