The CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) Manager is responsible for improving and optimizing the supply chain network through our strategic customer partners (dealers, distributors, and retailers) by forecasting their demand and connecting it back to our S&OP and production scheduling processes. The Supply Chain CPFR Manager reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain, Customer Operations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • The CPFR Manager has 4-6 direct reports and requires a high level of collaboration with the customer, internal supply chain, commercial, FP&A, and sales operations.  It will be the CPFR Manager’s responsibility to work closely with our key dealer, distributor, and retailer accounts to build a data connection of real future demand to improve our forecasting and working capital throughout the entire supply chain. The CPFR Manager’s responsibilities will be heavily focused on obtaining and refining the future customer demand so it can be integrated into our supply chain planning processes, both S&OP and production scheduling:
  • Lead and manage a team to work with our key customer partners to share demand visibility.
  • Coordinate the customer demand forecast with our analytics and demand planning teams to improve our forecasting accuracy.
  • Leverage that demand signal to implement supply chain processes that enable a just in time delivery and improve overall turns with our most strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with Commercial business partners to jointly target key customer metrics.
  • Manage direct reports and organizational talent through performance management, succession planning, and individual development.
  • Travel:
    • Expected to be 10% yearly, primarily with strategic accounts to understand how they forecast, how they receive their customer demand and partner to share future demand data to streamline our collective supply chain.

 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Customer focused with skills in relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues or problems using data and use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing an appropriate solution.
  • Experience in collaborative S&OP, ideally utilizing SAP IBP and APO
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain best practice methodologies for multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across an organization to realize improvements
  • In depth knowledge of customer service, supply chain, transportation, and logistics
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic working relationships while holding others and self-accountable for deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload while paying attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a strong team player.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business/ Operations, Engineering, or related field. Degree must be from an accredited institution.
  • 7 or more years in Supply Chain, analytical or Operations Management role
  • Experience working with customers on integrating their demand into S&OP
  • 3-5 or more years in a management/supervisor position in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • SAP/IBP experience a plus
