As the Sales Consultant you will play a primary role in driving top initiatives for the company. You will be accountable for handling special projects related Fleet, Safety and Sales. In this role you will participate in lead generation, lead qualifying, lead management, customer, and contractor engagement for our outside sales team. You’ll be responsible for participating in special projects with a focus on fleet management and safety. Management of information flow within our Salesforce CRM software will be critical to the success of the role. You’ll be responsible for monitoring the progress of their projects, their opportunity funnel and communicating initiative summaries consistently. Within certain projects you will have the autonomy to negotiate pricing and close a sale. You will report directly to the Sales Consultant Team Lead.

 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

Participate in special projects: Fleet and Safety (40%)
•    Lead projects related to fleet management and safety.
•    Works closely with partner vendors to ensure our sales reps have a safe experience with respect to their company vehicles.    •    Task-oriented, with an attention to details and ability to flex strengths in a high-demand & fast-paced environment  
•    Interest in safety, logistics 
•    Provide expert guidance to management on issue resolution and drive effective remediation strategies.
•    Independently make decisions that relate to better service and experience.
•    A self-started that can report solutions back to leaders in the business without much guidance from manager.

 

Participate in special projects:  Sales (50%)
•    Be able to navigate and manage multiple CRM systems on daily basis
•    Up-sell consumers and customers on high value products.  •    Exhaust all resources to generate new leads including prospecting, permit list, purchased contacts, channel events, and segments to prioritize leads for effectiveness & efficiency.
•    Qualify leads using relative market segments criteria to filter opportunities and targets.
•    Schedule meetings for outside sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel and close opportunities.
•    Convert sales over the phone in applicable situations/initiatives.


Self-monitor the progress of projects, sales funnel and communicate initiative summaries on a consistent basis (10%)
•    Present findings from projects on a bi-weekly basis. 
•    Maintain & enforce accountability with outside sales and third-party contractors of generated opportunities. •    Provide initiative summaries highlighting outcomes and opportunities to adjust strategic and operational approaches for improved results
•    Work with Salesforce administration and maintain Salesforce reporting requirements that provide the correct level of insight required to assess success and failure

•    Demonstrated intermediate skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software).
•    Ability to deliver results and the motivation for career advancement.
•    Ability to work independently and with other sales team members.
•    Ability to travel up to 10%, as necessary.


Education/Experience:
•    Post high school education or combination of equivalent work experience (bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Sales and Marketing, or related field preferred).
•    1 to 3 years of successful sales experience selling value-added, whole solution products (in-store channel experience preferred).

 What You’ll Receive:

 

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits, and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
