As a Customer Account Representative and member of Customer Operations, you are part of a fast-paced, critical thinking, and high-pressure environment. Our representatives are always on top of their game, constantly providing support to our customer base, Sales team, all facets of Supply Chain and other departments within the organization. You are the face of James Hardie, on the front lines for our customers and the organization, requiring you to apply basic technical knowledge while effectively leveraging available resources and prioritizing issues.
What You’ll Do:
- Issue resolution via phone and email, order entry, as well as providing status updates from when an order is placed to when it is delivered
- Provide timely responsiveness & proactive follow up on issues
- Troubleshoot and problem solve leveraging knowledge, resources, qualitative and quantitative information
- Process improvement – brainstorming and creating new ways to be more efficient and effective
- Have the opportunity to manage dashboards, reporting, perform basic analysis and projects
- As a highly metrics-based team, you will be held accountable for results and excellent customer service daily

What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 1-3+ years of experience, preferably in a customer-centered, high urgency environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Data-entry experience
- Ability operating under minimal supervision
- Strong team player who can work cross-functionally
- Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills with the ability to think on your feet and flex to varying tasks to support the team
- Excel knowledge preferred
- SAP knowledge preferred
