Summary

The Advanced HRIS Analyst, Learning & Talent will be a core member of James Hardie’s People Solutions team focused on driving continuous improvement, delivering leading practice solutions, and working closely with cross-functional partners.

This involves collaboration with leaders, other analysts, and development teams to design, develop, test, and implement solutions to meet business requirements.

Working closely with the Learning, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition teams, this position will be an integral part of helping the organization deliver on its People strategy as it relates to Performance Management, Goal Planning, Succession & Development, Learning Management, Recruiting Management, and Onboarding.  This position will be a key stakeholder during business cycle planning & execution, product release management, system testing & control fulfillment, report development, and will provide general production support as needed.

What You’ll Do:

Business Consultation

  • Proactively advises functional partners on technology that meets their needs, anticipates future issues, or creates efficiencies
  • Represents function during audit & control activities, major incident responses, and complex cross-functional problem investigations
  • Master and maintain detailed knowledge of product-suite configuration options, integration points, and leading practices
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written functional requirements and technical specifications
  • Communicate issues, enhancements, and project status to business stakeholders and management
  • Extracts and analyses current, historical, and forecasted data to drive recommendations to business partners

 

Solution Architecture

  • Works in concert with leadership to drive the strategic design and technical development of new applications, modules, and processes
  • Understands the integration and security architecture across the technology landscape and develops or maintains as needed
  • Has accountability for specific modules within a technology solution
  • Independently conducts technical problem-solving and solution development
  • Provides technical support for various applications, acting as a point of escalation for support resources
  • Identify and evaluate problems through detailed root cause analysis
  • Research potential solutions by investigating third-party knowledge base articles, technical documentation, or communities
  • Configures applications to support business requirements, and executes technical testing and facilitates end-user testing/acceptance

 

 

Project Delivery

  • Leads HR-wide projects involving the highest levels of scope, technical difficulty, and complexity
  • Builds significant partnership both inside and outside of HR
  • Acts as key liaison with third-party technical resources and coordinates cross-functional resources, often directing work to ensure solutions adequately meet business requirements
  • Design and create training and process documentation for new projects, processes, and functionalities

What You’ll Bring:

Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience.

Detailed understanding of SAP SuccessFactors architecture & data.

Project management training or experience a plus.

Change management training or experience a plus.

Need to be able to translate business requirements and architect sustainable solutions.

Stays aware of current trends and technical advancements and shares learnings.

Experience managing cross functional problems and support, coordinating technical and functional resources.

Ability to work collaboratively within a distributed team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $100,000 to $130,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
