As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and be responsible for oversight, maintenance, and optimization of James Hardie’s external website properties. You will be a well-rounded, tech-savvy digital marketer with hands-on experience across a breadth of areas, including website launches, website management, hands-on experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) to publish, SEO, testing and optimization, analytics and reporting, etc.
You will partner with marketing stakeholders, as well as other agency partners and business segment members, to manage a wide variety of key web projects to completion. We are looking for an energetic candidate who is not afraid to dive in and create an amazing digital experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide project management, tracking, and reporting on James Hardie’s owned web properties
- Administer James Hardie’s Content Management System (CMS), creating and managing content updates and content maintenance
- Develop web experiences that reflect a test & learn approach to content delivery along our customer journey that encourages engagement with the product
- Generate actionable intelligence from audience insights by working with our analytics team to support incremental changes to the product
- Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts, both content and technical, to drive continuous improvement
- Lead Search Engine Optimization efforts, both content and technical, to drive continuous improvement
- Support the development of landing pages and A/B testing plans
- Manage end-to-end digital marketing projects – specifically website and landing page launches, including requirements gathering, timeline management, Q/A and testing, and post-launch support
- Collaborate with James Hardie’s IT team through detailed documentation and proactive communication
- Assist in ongoing website development and manage our digital agency in new development efforts
- Identify and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed goals

What You’ll Bring:
- Hands-on experience with CMS tools and basic HTML knowledge
- Proficiency with SEO management platforms, such as Conductor or Brightedge
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, CDPs and other analytics and reporting tools
- Hands-on experience across a variety of digital marketing areas, including website administration and development, digital content marketing, SEO, testing & optimization tools, etc.
- Proficient in project management platforms (experience with Workfront, Jira, SmartSheets and SharePoint a plus)
